I’ve benefited significantly from my nine-year yoga practice. Chronic back pain had sent me to my doctor, who strongly recommended exercise as a way to manage my discomfort. I’d heard good things about the physical benefits of yoga, but as a guy in my late 50s, I hesitated to start a new exercise routine, especially one that seemed to be dominated by youth. I gave it a try, and soon found relief from my aches and pains. I also realized that my practice was an effective way of managing stress from work and a busy routine, a mental get-away on my yoga mat. My practice grows at Balance Yoga, where I learn from talented, experienced instructors, led by Sandy Eimers. GF 67yo
