Eric Daishin McCabe RYT

Daishin began study of Soto Zen Meditation with his Zen Master in 1994, and did a 15- year apprenticeship with her in central Pennsylvania. He also studied under Zen Masters in Japan and with Thich Nhat Hanh in France. Daishin found yoga an awesome complement to Zen meditation, and completed his 200RYT at Yogaville in 2012. His work with trauma survivors and those in recovery led him to study Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) and to complete their 300 hour teacher training.

  • "Aimless" Yoga
  • In Zen we say, "You are perfect just as you are, and there is plenty of room for improvement." Your aches, age, anxiety, and arthritis do not diminish you. While the by-product of Aimless Yoga can be improved physical and emotional health, it is not the purpose. Aimless Yoga is about entering the paradox of being perfect and at the same time incomplete. Class includes basic asana, pranayama, deep relaxation, Zen meditation and chanting. All levels of ability welcome.
