Annette Vance RYT

Annette has three passions, family, sharing yoga, and the visual arts. She taught public school art in Minnesota and Iowa for 30 years, most of that time in Ankeny. In 2000, one of her four sons introduced her to yoga and in 2014 she completed 200 hr certification at balanced breath school of yoga. She is certified in trauma sensitive yoga through Sundara Yoga Therapy (TIYT) and also teaches at the Ankeny Art Center, Ankeny adult education and the YMCA Ankeny.


Annette Vance RYT instructs the following:
  • Essential Hatha Yoga
  • Practice basic yoga postures, the art and benefits of breathing, gentle stretching and basic flowing movement. Modification of poses and use of props are encouraged to enhance alignment and energy within asana. Beginners welcome!
